1.0.6 was the last release of TDM — Twitch Deleted Messages. The codebase had reached its limit, and patches were starting to break other things. We decided to stop patching and rewrite it from scratch.
The result is Frappe 2.0: a full rewrite with every known bug fixed. The new name fits better — the old one was tied to a single platform and a single feature, and the project is no longer either of those.
Frappe now supports Twitch, YouTube Live, and Kick. We're committing to keeping each of these working long-term, and adding more when a new platform is worth supporting.
Deleted message recovery is the first tool, not the whole plan. Frappe is meant to be a small set of focused watch tools for live streams. More are on the way.
Alongside the extension, we want frappe.live to grow into a useful site for the gaming community — tools, writeups, and features for people who spend their time around games and streams.
Thanks for using TDM despite its issues over the years. Frappe 2.0 is what we wish we'd shipped sooner.
